Twisted Willows

May 4, 2017

A photo of the initial stages of sculpting the paper into a Willow tree. When the initial layer has dried I start applying vivid background colours. This can be seen in the yellow & red stage-two picture in the bottom right hand corner of the photo. The painting only emerges after a number of layers and colour enhancement.

I love to sculpt willow trees as they are so synonymous with the East Anglian landscape
